i found rachel ignotofsky out of the blue whilst doing some research and i fell in love with her illustrations. although more complicated than some of the shape work that i have researched, they are still amazing. the characters feel really personal but yet like they could relate to a lot of people as they are very diverse. they are also portraits of real people and i think it would be interesting to try and translate the way she captures people in her illustrations when trying to do some of the ideas that i have. i also love the patterns and how everything is interlinked and curves around eachother and the colours are very complimentary of eachother and are simple but appealing.
