we were given a first task today to introduce us to the new brief, it was about simplification. we were all given an object and we were asked to create 1 lifelike drawing of the object and then the rest would be simple drawings that would represent the object without having to be too in depth. it was quite a graphic design brief, and i really liked getting stuck into the idea of simplifying my art as normally i'm quite an intricate artist and i like things detailed. i think this task will really help with the development of my project and i will carry on showcasing this idea.
