here is one of my finished gifs! i i'm glad i decided to go with my little leaf guys as my theme because i think they are the cutest and funniest. a lot of my peers really liked the leaves too so i thought why not be a crowd pleaser. i really like how it turned out, colours as well, i think the pastels work really nicely. i wish i was better at animating so that the arm movements and hands looked more fluid but ce la vie, i like how it turned out anyway!
here is my finished 3D gif! excuse the quality, that happens and it sucks, it looked really beautiful in photoshop! i struggled a little bit with this one because we did it wrong at first! but we sorted it out in the end. I really wanted it to be a continuous leaves effect, but it would have been really difficult getting them in the perfect place and i didn't have enough leaves that would've fit the frame, so i had to deal with them going off the screen and coming back on again! in the end i still think it's a really cute gif and i like it!
here is my last gif! the handrawn one! it was so fun using this process as i've never done it before and i felt like a proper animator! it was very time consuming but really rewarding at the end when you see everything finished! i had to make a few teaks from a discussion with some peers from animation, they mentioned adding an extra frame after the leaf close up to make it a bit more fluid and like he was properly looking at the leaf. all in all i think it turned out really well and i like it!
