vis com: new brief new me

so we got given the new brief today. i need to pick 4 cities and do 4 postcards. i don't want to do something totally mainstream but then again if i do something too far out there no one will know what the country is that i'm doing. 
some initial country ideas:

• i'm really interested in asian countries and their culture. i'm not sure exactly what it is that i want to focus on with this yet. i really love how vibrant their countries are and how beautiful the landscapes can be. v. interested in cherry blossoms and flowers. also love the fashion and music, and the celebrities are all diverse and interesting.
• really like the idea of traditional dress from different countries and a celebration of this. mainly because in some cases not a lot of people know about them and they all have such beautiful colours and patterns.
• different iconic trees from different countries??? i'm not sure. thinking about japan cherry blossoms got me trying to think of other trees/plants that are famous in other countries. will research into this.
• there is a lot of states in america with a lot of iconic cities. not sure whether this idea will be too basic or boring but will look into the countries and find if there is anything interesting. 
• maybe i will look into doing completely different countries instead of from around the same place to add interest and diversity. but then if they were from the same place it might look more like a nice set.
